The BallStat valve precisely controls the flow of multiple coolant circuits via the radiator. The BallStat is driven by a wax-element and it’s pressure drop is minimal compared to common thermostats.
The Ball Valve technology provides a pressure drop close to zero at high flow rates. This improves engine efficiency and reduces emissions.
With the optional Map Control, the ECU can adapt the engine temperature level to respond to driver's needs.
The system can be equipped with a sensor to fulfill OBD requirements, making sure the system works well over lifetime.
